As vice president of sales for the endovascular division of Abbott Vascular, Bud Fahey oversees a team of 150 people and deals with more than $260 million in annual sales. He took on this role in 2013, and helped to increase the division’s sales from seven percent to 15 percent one year later. Bud Fahey coordinates the strategic and tactical plans, both of which assist with marketability and sales targets. He also initiated market development and physician training programs.
Employed at the Alpharetta, Georgia, location since 2005, Bud Fahey gained years of experience as a sales and marketing executive. Within Abbott, he also worked as vice president of sales for the coronary division, director of sales for the peripheral vascular sector, and director of the national accounts and sales operations. He began at Abbott Vascular as director of national accounts.
Within his community, Bud Fahey served as president of the Cambridge Lacrosse program. An active individual, he trains for triathlons, plays golf, and coaches children in sports. He also enjoys watching movies and ranks Casablanca as his favorite film. An avid traveler, he traveled to Costa Rica, Mexico, Ireland, Italy, and Belgium within the last several years.
